Six Podcasts I Love in Motherhood

Anyone who knows me, knows I love a podcast! From parenting to business. wellness to true crime - I love them!

As a mum of two, one of my go-to escapes is a listening to a good podcast. So I thought I’d share with you six of my favourite podcasts to listen to in motherhood.

1. Yoga Girl: Conversations from the Heart

This was one of the first podcasts I ever listened to before I had a baby but I love it even more so now that it discusses motherhood. Rachel Brathen's podcast is so soothing and offers thought provoking ways to think about life and motherhood while being welcoming at the same time. It’s not all motherhood either, a bit of yoga, wellness, life musings and more.

2. The Motherkind Podcast

Zoe Blaskey's 'Motherkind' features some amazing guests and discusses some interesting topics that you don’t often hear in motherhood pods. She chats to names including Dr Zoe Williams, Anna Mathur and Millie Mackintosh to name a few and always offer loads of perspectives on parenting. Her discussions on mindfulness, self-compassion, and embracing the joys of parenthood are so great. Definitely worth a listen.

3. Happy Mum Happy Baby

Giovanna Fletcher's 'Happy Mum Happy Baby' podcast seems to me like it was the original mum podcast? I remember listening to this in the bath as a brand new mum five years ago just feeling comforted knowing I wasn’t going through all of this alone. Always so warm, fun, friendly and inviting, yet never shying away from the serious and hard topics. It really has something for everyone. Her honest conversations with fellow parents about the realities of parenting are so brilliant!!

4. Goal Digger

'Goal Digger' by Jenna Kutcher is my go-to for motivation and empowerment. As a mum pursuing personal growth and business, Jenna's actionable advice and inspiring interviews with successful women fuel my ambition to follow my passions while balancing family life. She offers some great advice on parenting two young kids while working and trying to ‘balance’ them both. Great if you are a mum who wants to have (or already has) your own business.

5. Beyond The Bump

The humor and practical advice offered by the hosts of 'Beyond The Bump' made me feel less alone in the challenges of early motherhood. It is so open and honest and often hilarious. Their discussions about raising infants and toddlers is great and they have great guests on regularly too covering a whole range of topics.

6. Made By Mammas

From pregnancy to parenting, fashion and fitness 'Made By Mammas' covers it all. Zoe Hardman and Georgia Dayton's parenting experiences and interviews with experts, celebrities and mums, It really is like sitting in on a conversation with mates.

Hope you like these recommendations - and I’m always on the lookout for more so please share your favourites too!
